IPF Distinctions @ Thurles
At our meeting last Wednesday November 23rd Jim Troy set up projected image and gave members a practical session on the setting of aperture etc. It was a session with a difference. We will have a practical session on Night Photography on December 14th when the town is lit up with the Christmas lighting.
On Saturday November 26th last our club hosted the Irish Photographic Federation National Distinctions in the Tipperary Institute. The day commenced @ 8.30am with the erecting of the display stands and members assisted until 5pm handling some fantastic images. We also had a selection of our own prints on display outside the distinction hall.
Our thanks to the management of the Institute for making the splendid facility available to us.

We will have the judging of our Nature competition on Wednesday December 7th. Our Christmas party is on Saturday December 10th anyone interested contact the officers immediately.
