January Competition
At our meeting on January 18th we had the judging of our Novelty Digital competition
theme Christmas setting. The judging was done by the members thought secret ballot.
It proved to be a successful event. Our thanks to John O’ Loughlin for providing the voting
sheets and for doing the tallying of the results. Afterwards Jim Freeman gave a digital
presentation covering the trip to Scotland last year which was well received.
The results of the competition were 1st John O’Loughlin, 2nd Dusan Hozan, 3RD J.J.
Fogarty, 4th Brendan O’Loughlin. Our congratulations to all concerned.
On February 1st we will have the judging of our first competition of 2012 the theme
being “People”.
This competition also provides members to formulate an entry for a
forthcoming regional competition which has a similar theme.
We have also commenced giving sessions on Photoshop and our next one is being held
on February 8th, so members should have all their queries answered regarding this topic
over the coming weeks.
